The First Inhabitant of 19827 Chicago Street

We are moving right along with the house these days. With the addition of siding and cabinets last week, the house is looking more and more "finished" every day. With still a couple months to go, we're starting to see how the space of the cabinets fills up the kitchen, bathroom and bar areas. Its really neat to see the stain that we picked out applied to the cabinets! Our selections are starting to show with each new additional puzzle piece of the house. We also got to meet the first true inhabitant of our house. Just this past Friday, we noticed a small bird's nest in the upper corner of the garage. Since that part of the house isn't drywalled yet, the bird made it home! Let's just hope those baby birdies hatch before the drywallers get to them first!

What a difference siding makes!

Yes, we're on the front porch, and we're waving.

Kitchen cabinets- Sara looks pretty excited!
